I imported .bmp file into FCP.
I used some motion keyframes to give it movement.
When I played it back, the movement is choppy and the
    picture has jagged edges.
When I stop the clip, the picture is very clear, sharp.
It’s only when it moves that it is fuzzy and jagged.
I’m viewing on an NTSC t.v. monitor.

Is there a fix for this?
    thank you

This issue has to be one of the most if not THE most asked questions here, I used “stills” as a search word, you could also try “flickering.”

one thing to be sure, check that all of your graphics are at or near D1 resolution. FCP doesn’t seem to be able to scale images with bicubic quality which is completely absurd.

In the motion setting under crop, I changed the feather to give it a softer edge. I realize this is just a quick fix and probably not a solution, but I was under deadline and it worked for me.
