February 21, 2016 at 5:29 pmWill the RX Plug-in Pack run inside Sony Vegas Pro 13 ? .. I downloaded the trail version and it “appears” in V13 but it is not fully functional there.

February 23, 2016 at 6:56 pmThat’s interesting. I queried tech support at iZotope and they say that RX Plug-in has not been tested with Vegas Pro 13 and therefore “..certain issues might arise that cause the plugin to loose functionality…”
Where did you install the RX Plugin? Which folder? What OS are you running?

February 23, 2016 at 9:03 pmIzotope RX Plug-in Pack installs just like any other VST audio plugins,
on any system and in your VST folder, then direct Vegas to that particular
folder. It doesnt have to be officially tested in Vegas, it is nothing complex!
This is a trimmed down version of its parent Izotope RX, which by the way
works perfectly in Vegas, so this plugin pack is even easier to integrate.Steve Rhoden (Cow Leader)

February 24, 2016 at 2:53 amok, now i see whats wrong.
Paul, you are going about not understanding how VST plugins functions
within Sony Vegas, functionality is different in an Audio editing Software
like Soundforge. For Vegas, there is no OK, Cancel or Preview button like
you are expecting to see. You simply apply it, make your adjustments, and
leave it where it is, That’s it!Steve Rhoden (Cow Leader)

February 24, 2016 at 3:41 amThanks Steve. I see now.
The RX plug-ins can be fairly subtle and I guess I wasn’t noticing much change when using it inside Vegas.. I wanted to be sure it was fully functional inside Vegas before spending the $99 — I do see it now however. It works as you said. Thanks for your patience.
Seems well worth the $99 to me. Completely amazing how it can clean up stuff that I would have thought was impossible to get at.
I’ve been transferring sound track off old 16mm release prints using an old 16mm projector to an H1 Zoom Recorder. The track was full of “thumping — hummm — and noise” .. Even with my lack of expertise at such things, I was able to clean it up in amazing fashion.
Check it out here. The RX plug-in starts about 1 min into this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S3eC15CXjvs&feature=youtu.be
