  • I’ve lost the Pan/Crop box (please help!)

Posted by Suzy Shepherd on August 26, 2008 at 10:51 pm

I was rushing around on Sony Vegas 8, being a little careless, and I had the Pan/Crop box open. I needed to see something behind it, and so I dragged it down to the bottom of the screen and dropped it. However, in my hurry I dropped it too far down, right off the screen completely. It’s disappeared beneath the bar at the bottom. Now I can’t get it back up, because the pan/crop box automatically loads into the position that it was in when it was last loaded. I’ve tried restarting Vegas, and I’ve opened other projects, but I can’t get it open again. Every time I try to open it, it loads at the bottom of the screen. I’ve tried to drag it back up, but I can’t even see it. It’s completely dissappeared. Please help!
Is there any way that I can make it open into another section of Vegas (like the box where the Video FX and Transitions etc are) or make it so that it doesn’t load into the same position as when it was last used? Please reply asap! Thanks.

    Suzy,
Simply auto hide your taskbar, and when it sinks out of view
you will see your pan crop window…and you can drag it back up.
(right click the task bar..then properties…then tick
    ‘auto-hide the taskbar’).
