  • It’s possible to hide filename on Multicamera editing?

When i’m editing multicam in Draft or Preview quality, the filename appears so much big, that uses almost half of the videoscreen -.-

i have an medium notebook (i5 | 4gb | 1gb Radeon), i can’t edit multicamera in Good or Best quality, it’s very painful, every time i have to do ‘Shift + B’ to make an Dynamic RAM Preview of only 1 minute -.-, i prefer to edit in low quality, but not with an outdoor in my videoscreen

is there any option to hide the file name?

    You can do several things.
    1. If you use “preview auto” those names will be large. If you use “preview half” the names will become much smaller.
    2. Before you create the multitrack, name the track. I name mine 1,2,3,4.
And then you don’t get so many letters in the way. I suppose you could name then with a period and then you’d only get a dot instead of letters up there.

    Hi there,

I see this hasn’t been updated in a while, but it was the first answer I found when searching for this info. So I thought I’d update with some other information I found while digging further, in case someone else comes across this.

If you right click on the video preview, you’ll find the Video Preview Preferences. In the Multicamera Editing section, you can uncheck either (or both) the Display Take Names and Display Take Numbers to clear up the preview window as you see fit.

I found that info at https://vegaspro.helpmax.net/en/using-vegas-software/multicamera-editing/editing-multicamera-video/

I hope that’s helpful to someone down the line.
