Heh, didn’t realize you’re out of Toronto. I spent two months there (several visits) last year. I’ve got a client in Brampton. Beautiful city. I’m in San Diego CA.

Yeah, if it doesn’t have to play on set-tops, a Director or Flash EXE will be just fine.

San Diego’s nice, too. Got a massage there in ’91. Very New Age, but good.

try rendering an animation QT or MJpeg. Encore should handle qt’s just fine. Personally I’d avoid windows media if I could. I’m not a macaholic, I’ve just had much better results with QT in windows.

I did uncompressed AVI and same results…would animation AVI be different? What is mjpeg? Is that a rendering option in AE?

MJPEG is Motion-JPEG, like Animation, a Quicktime codec.

You can’t make “animation AVI” since Animation is a Quicktime codec, not an AVI codec.

    Quicktime is Ford.
    Ford makes Mustang and Explorer.
Quicktime codecs are M-JPEG and Animation.

    AVI is Chevrolet.
    Chevy makes Impala and Blazer.
AVI codecs are, er, um … Uncompressed and Indeo (in the past).

Chevy doesn’t offer Mustang or Explorer.
AVI doesn’t offer Animation or M-JPEG.
