it says FCP must be serialized in order to do MPEG2?
I just installed FCP3 OSX. I try to do an export of MPEG 2 and it says “DVD STudio Pro must be serialized in order to run Quicktime MPEG encoder”.

Just what it says. FCP3 did not come with an MPEG-2 encoder. If you’re trying to make MPEG-2 for use with DVD Studio Pro you have to either have DVDSP, and run it to initialize the application, or a third party MPEG-2 encoder like BitVice or Compression Master.
