Hello all, I have an exported xml from Tentacle software wherein my imported synced sequences have the original camera and the polywav files! Fantastic because when I load these sequences as clips and then lay them into an editing timeline with the “individual clips” option toggled on, I get the video and all my audio sources in the timeline. This is what I want because I want to be able to scratch mix as I edit. The problem, of course, is when I match back, premiere matches back to the original video, NOT the synced sequence. I don’t want to make merged clips from these synced sequences as I have had nothing but problems for years relinking media and or the audio labeling gets stripped when I export an OMF/AAF. So the question is…Is there a way to turn a sequence with synced clips into a multicam sequence? I googled and found what appeared to be a way but it doesn’t do it (right click on sequence, create sequence from clip, enable multicam-nope) Advice appreciated!

an update to this, there is a way! I finally found a YouTube video that lays it out. Basically you create a multi-channel preset sequence with mono tracks , copy your synced clips into that preset sequence, load that sequence into the source side…enable multicam in the source window…and you have a multi-cam sequence! Here is the YouTube video. Thank you Paul Murphy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aiVYRuWohZI
