Issues with installation of Final Cut Studio 5 on new iMac.
I just purchased the new Intel 2 duo core iMac, but am having an impossible time installing my older version of FC Studio. I have it installed on 3 of my older single duo core Macs (including a not so powerful MacBook), but when I try to install on my new iMac, it completely freezes up in the install phase forcing me to Force Restart (by holding in the power button) the computer. The strange thing is that it acts like a completely normal installation, and even begins to actually install, but then once it starts installing the “Boris Language Pack” it instantly freezes.
Any insights as to why this is happening would be incredibly appreciated.

Well first of all, what you’re asking help on is illegal. You are licensed for 2 machines and one must be a desktop and one a laptop. That’s it. Installations spanning 4 computers is against the agreement with Apple…so getting help here on an illegal install isn’t going to result in getting help.
