  • Issues with imported AI files and puppet tools

    Hi,

I am having issues with imported AI files. I am trying to animate a whale opening its mouth while swimming. For some reasons not only the animation gets jaggy but alos the movement that I create with puppet tools gets all broken. I went into each single AI element and turned on all the “Continuously Rasterize” buttons this still happens. I attached the screen shot of the rendered image and the timeline.

Anyone has any idea?? Maybe using puppet tools and AI files is a bad idea? Please help!

Did you turn on continuous rasterize for the layers within the “body” precomp?

Thank you Johnny for the reply. Yes, all the AI files in the body comp have the “Continuously Rasterize” option on.

If you don’t mind, create a reduced project of the compositions that are giving you trouble & the whale .ai file. Do a File > “Collect files”, zip up the folder(you have to zip it up or you can’t upload it here) and then use the upload project button above(last one on the right) and I’ll take a quick look at your project and see if I can figure out what is causing the problem.
