Issues with flash choppy transitions in Vegas movie studio HD plat 11
Hi, hope i this issues can be resovled.
Im using Sony HDR-XR 155 E and using the Vegas Movie Studio HD plat 11 to edit.
When using the cross fades by drag and drop rendering in HD 1080 this works ok. However when using transitions like Glow and blurd focas alone or together flash choppy footage back and forwards from screen to screen.
This looks ok when previewing the footage only when its rendered it goes wrong in 1080 hd internet setting. this same transition work fine when rendering in dvd SD. only in internet 1080 hd does this not work.

What are your render settings?

Hi thank you for you prompted reply, setting shows the render spec to be – Internet HD MP4 1920×1080 25fps best option, this is where hard glow doesnt work.
Is there a better setting for HD 1920×1080 via youtube that works when using transitions?

I’ve had problems that vaguely resembled this before, and it was when my render settings didn’t match my project settings. And my project settings didn’t quite match my footage. Can you post all the settings from your project and render? Upload screen caps of each list of settings if it makes it easier.
Also, have you tried rendering footage with no effects and seeing if that looks different? Either way, my guess is that you have project settings that don’t match your footage or render settings, like different frame rates.

It looks like your source video is 25fps, but your project is set to 24fps. Try setting your project properties and render properties to 25fps (25p), and the transitions might work better.
If there is a lot of motion (and this probably includes the transitions) then you can try changing the deinterlace setting (project properties) to Interpolate instead of Blend. Blend gives better vertical resolution but you can get ghosting if there is lots of movement.
