  Issues with DNX HD 8-bit color space in CC 2017

  I’ve been running some tests with DNxHD quicktimes with CC2017’s native exporter and comparing them to those from 2015 with RGB color profile, both in 8-bit.
  CC2017’s native exporter doesn’t have any color profile attached to it.

  Comparing these quicktimes in any media player, QT’s from 2017 show lack of contrast and saturation compared to those rendered from 2015 or a QT with Animation compression. These differences remain when imported into AVID. When the QT’s are brought back into AE, they all match exactly, so must be some shift happening in the playback engine.

  QT’s rendered from 2017 using the RGB 10-bit profile do not have this problem, but produce much larger files.
  I don’t know if Adobe is aware of this, but since DNxHD native support is new, it’s probably not fully polished.
  Just checking to see if anyone else has noticed this, and a word of caution to anyone transitioning to CC 2017.
