    Issues with Decklink Extreme & Adobe Flash Live Encoder

    Hi

    I just updated drivers from 7.1.2 to 7.2 to get the extra (1080p25) functionality. The firmware on the card was updated too. Problem is, the Flash live encoder keeps crashing when Decklink is selected as SD source (which was fine in 7.1.2).

    I wanted to know if it’s possible to revert/downgrade firmware back to 7.1.2 from 7.2.

    Yes, it is possible to downgrade. Simply uninstall the 7.2 drivers and reinstall the 7.1.2. When you reboot the system should come up and flash the firmware back.

    I have similar problem (though with different card). I updated drivers from 7.9.5 to 8.0 for my Decklink SDI (during the instalation firmware upgrade was requested) and now card isn’t shown in Device manager and it doesn’t work anymore with Flash media live encoder. Replacing back 8.0 with 7.9.5 (or any older drivers) didn’t solve the problem.
    Is there any other way to downgrade firmware ? Or any other advice how to get it back to work ?
