Issues with Adobe Auditon installed on an Avid Media Composer?
We want to start doing more audio processing and sweetening to use in our promotion spots, and we started using Audition last December after seeing Jason Levine’s awesome demo at DV Expo.
For workflow reasons, I’d like to install a seat on our Avid Media Composer Adrenaline….does anyone know of any issues with either application if you do this?
(Other than Avid saying this invalidates the support agreement, and blaming all crashes on Audition?)

Are you running AE or gFX on that system? (I won’t tell)

Nothing else but Avid MC Adrenaline and (the secret) Seat of Audition..it doesn’t even have any extra fonts loaded!

If you do have a problem, reinstall Adrenaline. As a general rule, if you are installing multiple software programs that require codecs, you want to always install the Avid software last to prevent other installations from screwing with the Avid codecs. (The exception to this is AVX filter packages and other add-ons like Boris Red that require the Avid software to be already present.)

No Problems so far, but we really haven’t used that seat of Audition much….I’m just looking for any weird porblems other folks have had post-installation…
