  • Issue with some clips displaying at wrong resolution (1194×671)

    Hi,

I am grading a music video for a friend, but when trying to denoise, I noticed that not all the clips were displaying in the same resolution. I thought this might have been a glitch in premiere, but looking into it, some of the clips are labelled 1080p as they should be, but a lot of them are apparently 1194×671.

These were supposedly the original files, so I asked him to check and this is indeed how the original files are, despite having all been shot in 1080p on a Canon 550d.

Does anyone know what’s going on? Is it simply a file labeling issue (I think he is still using an old macbook running Tiger if that has anything to do with it)? Can it be fixed? I haven’t been able to find anything on the internet about it.

    Thanks

    Josh
