Issue with drop shadow ‘running over’ the edges of multiple images.
I’m working on a logo, and am having an issue where multiple drop shadows are going beyond the edge of where I want them to stop, to where you can see the shadow over layers underneath. I tried to create a clipping mask, but it tells me that the top image must be a path, compound shape or text object.
Any ideas?

This may be a crazy question, bu what are your X offset and Y offset and Blur values?

It varies a bit from ‘flame to flame’ but pretty much its:
X: 0.25 in
Y: 0.1-0.25 in

Well I’m sure the shadow would spread a little too much with those numbers. You might have to lower the XY offset amount on each shape. Try .08 or .10
