It must be the way the data is expressed in the “Basic” section and what can be achieved in a point based LUT.
The “Tone Map” area has similar controls, and are probably easily mapped to a plot.
You should contact the LUT exporter developer and see if they have any insight.
LUTs are not definitive. They are usually a starting point to get footage within the realm of the same look between on set, edit, final grade, and output. Most of the time, they carry grade intention, more so than grade instruction.
