    Hello,

i am making a music video. i extracted out of the clips the pictures of the different scenes. i am using lightroom 6 for creating the luts.
My problem is that, my edited picture in lightroom looks nice but the lut that i puted on the same clip looks much darker and different.

for me it makes no sense that i create my clip in lightroom and when i am using the lut for the scene that it looks complete different.

i will put a picture of my lightroom and than a picture how it looks in fcpx.

i really dont know what to do and i am very thankfull for any help.

How are you exporting the LUTs out of Lightroom and what kinda of adjustments are you making?

I am exporting with John R. Ellis and I also tried with Lut generator.

i also switcht to 3 diffrent lut import programs in fcpx.

i am only changing the basic, tone curve, hsl and splittoning. the rest is disabeled.

i also tried diffrent colormodes, but only smal changes.

In 5 days i have to buy fcpx, till now i am using the trial, but there should be no problem or ?

Not all settings translate to a LUT. Not sure what splittoning is, maybe that’s it?

Do you have any other “Log Processing” enabled in FCPX?

What color space is the original footage?

Have you double checked the color space override or log processing settings in the inspector?

Open the inspector, client the “info” button, choose “Settings” from the dropdown and look at what the settings are.
