As far as I see it, for us at least, the official announcement on their own web of the upcoming fcpx features is a really significant step for apple. The clean up of the old Mac Pro line is not. The former interests me. The latter doesn’t. When they do announce a new line, I will be thrilled. When they do announce the death of it, I will be appalled.

Compressor v4.0.4 just pooped up in the App Store. APpears to be just retina related, though.

I was prompted there by a thread a few days ago asking what people thought Apple meant by “Multichannel Audio Tools” so I went there and it was there. Although I thought the little box it was in was across both columns at the bottom instead of 1, so something changed.
