What do you put your media on now?
I’d go with 4GB RAM. For DV, the second 500GB internal drive should work fine, but I prefer external storage.
Get the graphics card you can afford. Do you use motion a lot? If so, that’s where your graphics card will shine. I’d get the second tier graphics card (7800 GT), not the most expensive one, but not the standard one either.
The Quad will seem like a whole new world compared to your dual G4.
