I am looking for advice on editing Chroma Key segment in FCP. I found a tutorial at

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tYix-TglMs

is this any good or is there a better one people can recommend.

This is mainly because I did a Chroma Key shoot a few days ago. The background was fairly evenly lit with photo floods and the subject lit with a basic 3 point open faced turnstone rig with CTB and diffusers. Someone did the Chroma Key edit but the edges are quite frayed and obvious. They are a student so rather than just criticize them I would like to point them at some advice.

    The final video is at

(I know the keying is not the only issue but would like to focus on this, I can advise on the rest).

Thanks for that, will get them to have a look at motion (I am fairly sure it was done in FCP Editor but will check). It was shot on a 550D so there is not much choice of codec. Would be interested in any lighting tips. I think one of the problems was it is a very small studio and the person is too near the background.

What I really meant was that I know the editing needs work, there are lots of things I really don’t like (i.e. all the cross dissolves).
