Is there any way to connect clips that were edited as 30fps to the same clips reverse telecined to 24fps?
I did reverse telecine on these clips in Compressor. I had logged and edited with the clips at 30 fps. If I try to relink those clips to the version that is now 24fps, FCP X doesn’t let me relink. It tries to relink but tells me they’re incompatible.
I’m guessing there’s no work around. But i figured I’d ask first. Is there any way to connect the logging I did to the new clips?

No workaround I’m afraid. For FCPX to relink the files must be the same size, frame rate, etc.

Other than manually overcutting- but no you can’t ‘force relink’ in X.
