I’m starting to use markers more in my editing, and i want to know if there is anyway to add categories to the type of data I can enter into a marker. I’d love to make sections for scene and angle, the way you can add that metadata to clips.

Is there any way to add categories to the type of data I can record in a marker?

Not in a marker, but there’s columns for scene and angle, already.

Thing is I want to add markers to a long clip where the angle changes.

You can add a marker, but you will just have to name it “Angle: B” or whatever. There won’t be a category.

You can add different color markers for different angles, and then extend those markers (option ~) to delineate the change.
