    Hi there,

    Basically I really like some of the more rough brush strokes in photoshop and particularly corel painter but dont know how to use them in after effects, is there anyway i can put them in after effects and draw with them?

    I’m no expert but that’s exactly what I wanted to do as well.

    After posting the same question here and elsewhere, the main answer I get is no.

    Some have suggested using Synthetik Studio Artist (Mac only) as I think you can adapt a brush stroke much easier and more ‘lifelike’ in it than AE.

    Others suggested doing the ‘painting’ in Photoshop or Painter and then animating a mask in AE. Seems like more work than necessary though.
