Is there any Media 100 editor training courses?

April 2, 2005 at 2:52 pmI have been using Media100 7.5 for 3 years and recently moved to 8.2 on OS X 1.3.8 I am using Boris RED. I have basically taught myself through the tutorial and asking questions on Creative Cow. I saw a listing for digital video classes at Bowling Green State University
:Media 100 Editor Certification 1 for $995 and Editor 2 for $1295.Does anyone know anything about these courses and their value. I am thinking it would be nice to have some formal hands on training to become aware of all the features and shortcuts I am not using. I do a lot a photomontages, editing of old home movies, and combining the footage with photos and music with occasional voice overs.
Are you aware of any other training available at other locations? I am in Tacoma.
Any input you have would be appreciated.
Thanks for your time.

April 2, 2005 at 3:00 pmYou might want to learn some of the other editing apps out there,
as Media 100 disappears. -

I have taken the certification course at Bowling Green. They have a very good staff in place and excellent facilities. If you are looking to learn how to use your Media 100 completely you will get a very thorough course there.Chad

Even IF media 100 dissappears as a corporate entity, it will not make the equipment cease to function or become useless!
