is there an issue of compressed XD footage playing on Mac smoothly and not PC?
It seems that every time I compress this XDCAM ex footage I have it plays fine on my Mac but not on my laptop pc.
I’m using an H.264, 25 fps, Data rate 5000, key frame every 30.
I’m going to try setting the data rate and key frames to auto, but I was just wondering if I was missing something?

Perhaps your laptop is not as good as your Mac.

Mmm, I think the point is that I’ve never had problems before with this encoding and the first time I work with XDCAM footage I’ve run into this problem.
So if you or someone else could cast some light on that, that would be very helpful.
