Does C4D have an equivalent option to After Effects’ “Live Update”, which allows the display of the entire scene to temporarily be viewed in wireframe, ONLY while adjusting an object’s property parameters such as scale, position, etc– then “updating” back to full display after you let go of the mouse?

    Thanks in advance!

good question! ive wondered the same thing – the best thing ive found is to set display to isoparms, simple shading and lower display detail… but thats obviously a pain to switch on and off…

    anyone?

It’s all the those pesky details :p

nothing automatic I am aware of (other than the setting for if the frames per second gets too low which is not what you want) but you can change display modes with a keyboard shortcut — by default ‘Lines’ (the simplest/fastest) is N-G (that’s n followed by g not both at the same time) and Gourad full shading is N-A but those can be changed to anything you want of course.

Thanks for the keyboard shortcuts Brian, definitely a big help.
