  • Is there an easy way to create a heart rate ECG with expressions

    Hi all

Im trying to simulate a heart rate over a 30 minute duration under exercise. The rate can be random but there would be some times were i need to show a spike in a heart rate or low heart rate (resting).

Is there a way with an expression that this can be created?

    Thanks a lot

I should have also mentioned that I am using particular parented to a null with a wiggle expression attached to it for the vertical motion. Its giving me some “ok” results but wanted to see if there was another way perhaps with a sin expression.

    Thanks a lot

An EKG (or ECG) graph has a very distinct repeating pattern. I would animate one cycle manually and use an expression to cycle it again and again with valueAtTime using modulus of one full cycle. You can then speed it up or slow it down with a slider value that multiplies the value before using modulus.
