Video Cam Experience: A little below intermediate level
Broadcast Experience: A little above rookie level
    Live stream Experience: Intermediate level

Didn’t realize GenLock even existed until I began researching my audio/video sync issues while live streaming my church. In that research, I discovered that my Sony PXW-Z150 4K XDCAM doesn’t have GenCode capabilities.

I currently have my audio mixer attached to a high-end gaming laptop (running Wirecast) via USB. My three cameras come in via SDI cables to the io4k then thunderbolt cable into the laptop.

It is my understanding that there is more than one way to sync audio/video besides GenLock and just wondering if perhaps I could route my audio directly into the io4k and do the syncing there?

    Thanks,
    Bill
