is there a way to render all regions to separate tracks?
In Sound Forge you can render each region to its own audio file with a single command. You could have say 15 regions and when you execute the command, 15 new audio files will be created. Does vegas offer this with video?

Sort of. Tools – Scripting – Batch Render
Pick your output format and select “Regions”. You’ll have to add them to the timeline, though.Optionally, you could write your own script that does the whole thing.
