    Hello all,

I’ve worked out a solid workflow over the past couple of years mostly based on information I have read and watched from Creative Cow resources and all has been very well until the most recent change in our shooting.

We use a lot of Canon XF305 cameras and recently, as our primary delivery medium is web, we’re moving from 1080i50 to 1080p25.

My usual workflow is to Log & Transfer into ProRes 422 and away we go. However, when I imported the new 25p footage, FCP interlaced it while transcoding to 422. If I L&T as native, it remains progressive.

So, is there a way to L&T from XF305 to 422 and stay progressive? Otherwise, the only other way I can see to work is to L&T native, then transcode in Compressor which adds an unwanted step to the workflow.

Thanks in advance for any help.
