Somebody was walking by a reflective picture frame while we were shooting a scene and you can see their reflection in it.
It’s at the bottom of the (footage) frame.
Further along in the clip, there is a section where this reflection isn’t seen.

I was hoping I could duplicate the clip above the original then, slide it’s contents to a point where the reflection is gone, mask out everything else so the ‘clean picture frame’ is visible over the original and the 2 play together, seamlessly, without the walker’s reflection.

In Photoshop, this would be an easy task… create a layer mask and paint out everything but, the clean picture frame but, I can’t figure how to do it in Resolve.

Is there a masking feature to make part of the footage transparent when one clip is over another?
