  Is there a way to get the area of a shape layer?

  Hello. I’ve made a huge search and haven’t found a script to calculate the total area of a shape layer on AE. Is there a way to get it using the path properties?

   

  Here’s an example of this a script like this working fine on Illustrator:

  Even if we don’t have the “area” property, could be a script to calculate based on the coordinates of the points and tangents?
