Is there a way to get FCP HD or FCP 5 to use PCI display?
I’ve got my ATI 9600XT pushing video to my main Apple 23″ Cinema display and a Sony 50″ DLP (for client viewing using Digital Cinema Preview Mode). I have an ATI 9200 pushing pixels to my Apple 17″ Studio Display – this is in one the G5s PCI slots.
Problem is – I can’t use the two screen setups for all of FCPs windows because my second monitor is the Sony TV (which unfortunately isn’t on my desk), and FCP only recognizes AGP slots.
I’d love to use my Blackmagic Decklink Extreme card for output but unfortunately it doesn’t support HD and I am working with DVCPRO HD media.
I’d love to buy an HD1200A deck to handle outputs/up and downconversions, but I am about $26,000 short.Jus wonderingin if anyone has found a “way” to get FCP to recognize a PCI based video card to work in conjunction with the AGP card.

maybe you need to upgrade decklink card to HD model?
