Is there a way to force Adobe Media Encoder to always render at high preview quality?
Hello! First time posting. I must say that I’ve lurked here a lot and you guys are pretty incredible at answering questions well. Thanks for indirectly helping me in After Effects!
So here is my problem: when I am working in After Effects, I usually have the preview quality set at Quarter or even less, to get real time previews and work out timings. I render using AME and just ctrl+alt+m to send it there. However, when rendering at basically any H.264 format, AME seems to now read the preview quality I had AE set at and render it to those specifications, resulting in something that might be at 720p but has gigantic pixels. Why is that? This is using the new 2017 release, of course, so I figure I’ll just use 2015.whatever for now, but is there any reason for this, or way I can set it to always use Full?
In case it matters, I am running this off of an HP Envy, Windows 8.1 64 bit, i7-4700MQ, 16 gigs of RAM.
