  Is there a way to carry over metadata (such as Scene/Take) while using FCP’s synchronize clips function?

  Basically, when I use the synchronize clips function, the new compound clip doesn’t have information such as scene/take/reel in it. Surely there is a way that if you sync video and audio that has the same metadata (such as slate xxx/Take x) that the new clip will have the same metadata in it and you won’t have to re-enter that information? Am I missing something here?

  If anyone can help me with this I’ll have your babies because I’m facing doing this about 1,000 times.

  This may have been asked somewhere already but I couldn’t see it anywhere…

  Any help would be much appreciated.
