Is there a way to automate transitions on cuts when multiclipping?
Question is outside the breadth of a single project. I consistently am multiclipping 4+ angles together in long sequences of over 75min+
My current work flow leads me to manually paste the fade I want between each cut on each individual cut after I have worked through the sequence once over. My Final cut knowledge base is mainly self taught, so I am wondering if there is a more efficient way to accomplish this, as my current method can be a bit tedious at times. There is no variance in transitions throughout the sequence.

Here’s one way — go ahead and build one transition the way you want them all to be. Drag just the transition to the Favorites folder in the Effects tab, then right-click that transition and click “Set Default Transition.”
Then, in your timeline, select all the clips you want transitions between and hit Command-T.
It should work, whether they are multiclips or not.
