Is there a way that I don’t have to render the whole movie each and every time?
Hi,
I’m a vegas beginner. I’ve now got a movie made which is around an hour long. There are 10 parts in the movie. Can I somehow render them separately? So that when I make a change to one of them, I don’t have to render the whole movie again, just that part? Or is that not possible.Thanks a mil.

You can render in sections by making a timeline selection and and then checking the Render loop region only option when you render. At some point you will need to render the whole thing again to get one long movie back.

I also tried this, but I couldn’t find the rendered video clip (.AVI) when I got done rendering it. It wasn’t stored in my usual rendering output folder. Do you know where it defaults to? It did not offer a place to store the rendered output… odd…

Are we talking about Sony Vegas Pro here because the render dialog IS the output folder. Try opening File | Render As… and whatever folder it defaults to is probably where your AVI file is.
