Are you trying to alter the video to look like the photo or are you trying to alter the photo to fit the look of your production? I know that between Color Corrector or third party plugins like Magic Bullet and Magic Looks you could sorta produce the same color and contrast as in the photo. For the more cartoon look you try some free plugins from NewBlueFX.

Sure!

You can do it by dropping a Brightness and Contrast and Gradient Map onto your event or track.

In Brightness and Contrast bring Contrast and Contrast Center right up, but not all the way (You can do what you want really), and bring the Brightness accordingly until you find a balance and the levels seem right.

Now go to your Gradient Map and try to arrange something like this:

Play about with it til you get the look you want 🙂

With gradient map the bar gives a dark to light sort of spectrum for you to then replace all of the dark colours in the clip with, for instance, brown, all of the mid colours with orange and the brights with yellow.
