Is there a solution that really gets rid of the h264 gamma shift?

I’ve tried video copilot’s method and x264 but my videos when compressed with h264 still look terrible. Can someone please help me.

Do you have your QTPlayer set to “Allow FC color compatibility”?

I don’t have quicktime pro. Can I do this without the pro version?
