Apparently, you can import a Motion project into AE. More info here

BUT I’m sure that it won’t work across all versions between the twp products.

Also, since AE supports scripting, you should be able to accomplish someof the automation using Scripting. I suggest you checkout the COW”s AE Expression (and Scripting) forum. Instead of buying a plugin/app, you may want to pay the kind folks there to write something to suit your needs.

I was about to ask if there was scripting or software for AE like Digital Heaven’s Loader and saw this. I’m on a project that screams the need for something like Loader. You can always collect files, but sometimes It’s very important to have it all moved immediately while the project is in progress.
