I apologize if this is not the correct place but I was unsure where to post this question. Since i used final cut i thought i’d ask here.

I recently helped a friend create both NTSC and PAL DVCAM masters of his short
film to enter in festivals. I also helped him create and collect the appropiate files to send to company to create a new DVD master.
essentially it was all just encoding and printing to tape. So if I was to put this on my resume what should I call myself. Is encoder the correct term?
I just don’t want someone to read my resume and think that i’m an idiot because I used the wrong term.

    thanks
