I always wanted to ask this question,I have never seen my installation asking for “Match Sequence Settings” prompt.
Is there a feature such as that of PR CS6 to CS5.5?
    If Yes,where is it?

The icon in the lower corner of the project pane.
Drop a video clip on it and Pr will create a sequence that matched the video clip settings.

Alt. make any sequence and drop a clip in it and Pr will prompt you to make a match.

Thank you so much! You’re a lifesaver Chris!

But the problem is,Chris, this seems to work with CS6 and CC but not in PR CS 5.5?
I have to manually configure all the project settings to match with the imported video.Which is a pain in the you know where.

    Hi Abhi,

So what kind of video are you importing, from what camera? There’s sequence presets for most every occasion and you should very seldom get into a situation where you need to actually create a custom profile.

    Thanks

I am working on Canon 5D MkIII and 650D at the moment.
    So,it’s not a problem.

Anyways,I would have loved a Match Sequence Settings option with PR CS 5.5
