  • Is there a limit for scaling down in the pan/crop session?

Posted by Francis S. dobos on December 14, 2014 at 5:46 pm

A tried to place a small icon in the low left corner of the screen using the pan/crop tool. I experienced a limit for scaling down this picture. In the pan/crop window the value of position/width cannot be more than 8704. Scaling down the source image did not bring solution. Is there any option for scaling down more or this is the limit in SVP?

Yes, Pan/Crop has a limit. Instead, use Track Motion.

The drawbacks using Track Motion will produce degradation in resolution.

I resize and reposition the logo into a 16×9 “plate” within my Graphics package. This way I know I’ll get the best resolution. I always do it this way now.
