    Is the Seagate Barracuda SATA2 suitable?

    Hello,

    I’ve just added a second internal 500GB Seagate Barracuda SATA2 7200 16MB HDD to my Dual 2Ghz G5, however I cannot see it after starting up the system, I have followed the instructions carefully and tried reinstalling it, but still it doesn’t mount. The drive maybe damaged in which case I will swop it, however, I’m now beginning to worry if this drive is unsuitable. I can’t seem to find out any info, compatibility wise online, and I don’t want to take it back and change it for another if this is the case.
