Is tagging of video files possible in Sony Vegas?
I have had a request to add tags to video files in archival footage so that the media can be loaded on a content management server and searched by users. Specifically, they want to tag people who appear in the videos.
Is there a 3rd party application that will allow me to do this in Sony Vegas? Adobe has this ability in Adobe Bridge, but is there something for Vegas?
My system specs: Intel i7 970, 12GB RAM, ASUS P6T, Vegas Pro 10e (x32/x64), Windows 7 x64 Ultimate, Vegas Production Assistant 1.0, VASST Ultimate S Pro 4.1, Neat Video Pro 2.6

Sony media manager can do this. It is a separate download. I haven’t used it in a year or so but it worked in version 10. I think it only works within Vegas. I don’t remember.
