I have a project where the individual segments are in a single project file and then output to a high quality intermediate which is then put together with all the other intermediates to form the final video. I’m already applying the wave hammer compression in the individual files. Does it make sense to do it again in my “master” file?

No. Dont do it again in the master file (Final render).

Figured it was probably not a good idea.

    Thanks

Not unless you like a “Tin Can” effect.

    Indeed, would damage the audio.
And remember to use fiters moderately.
