Is it possible to run a script on save command
Hey all,
I wrote a little script that checks the version of my AE-File and compares it with the queued Renders – that way the Render will always have the same version as the script.
Is there a way to let AE run this script automatically when the script is saved? Or are there any callbacks at all? Perhaps when you start render or send s.th. to the queue?

I think the best you can do is install nodeJS and gulp. And with gulp you can automate some processes.
You can make it do something anytime you save a file. So you put a “watch” on your script and tell gulp to run it maybe via batch command. But this requires you to keep the node command prompt running.
So i’d say that this is possible, but a bit tricky to organize.
