Hello! Im new here. So, Im triying to make a Stop-Motion video with Vegas 11 and it would be great to have a Onion Skin to help! But I couldn’t be able to find this kind of function. Does anyone know if it exists or something similar?

    Greetings from Chile!

don’t know exactly your project but you can stack your frames one above other and change their transparency, i mean their events…

or maybe better: set a track for the first frame and another above it but make it transparent. this way two tracks are enough to observe how the movement changes. you just throw your frames on upper and lower track overlapping each other like bricks in the wall. thanx to transparency in the upper track you can have onion skin effect. when you’re satisfied with the next frame you just put it after the previous on the lower track and drop another frame on the upper track overlapping the one you just fixed.
at the and you can buy excellent vegasaur script or probably excalibur to make with just a few clicks all events one frame long and put them side by side and voila – your animation is ready. you can export your video or even picture sequence.

hope this is clear enough and will help you or at least give some new ideas to explore in wonderful vegas world!

    take care
