Is it possible to have buttons on moving objects, or does that mess them up?
Hi there
Basically I have an idea to have a sign swinging backwards and forwards and to have a button on it, but obviously the button would move with the sign, I mean Id create the animation on after effects and make the button as a text layer that moves with the sign…..would this work at all, or does anyone have any tips on how to make it look like it is?

You can’t make the actual button swing, but you could create the entire sign with text as part of the video of the motion menu background. As subpicture highlight (to indicate which button is selected) you could use some (stationary) graphical object like a box, a crosshair, something like that.
