  is it possible to generate ‘custom’ displays to be laid over clips in the timeline – EG source reel

  Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone could tell if there is a tool /script/plugin available that will allow you to generate displays other than timecode over the clips in the time line.

  For example, a clip may contain information such as Reel, keycode, time code etc. What I want to be able to do is put these up as displays over the clip so that it can be output as a reference file.

  At the moment FCP allows us to generate time code (source and/or record), but I can’t seem to find the option for anything else…

  If not, maybe we can use compressor or cinema tools?
